Summer Cocktail Recipes

Hosting aa party and don't know what unique beverage to serve your guests? This cocktail recipes, and a few non alcoholic drinks, is here to help you switch up the usual soda and wine while also keep it easy and not complicated!


Mojito



Ingredients:


Instractions:

  1. Lightly muddle the mint in the bottom of a coktail shaker (big glass if you dont have a shaker) until aromatic. Add the rum, lime juice, simple syrup, a handful of ice and shake (or stir well).

  2. Strain into a glass filled with ice , or just top with a splash of sparkling water and garnish with lime slices and more mint. if you have no shaker

Aperol Spritz



Ingredients:


Instractions:

  1. Fill a wine glass with ice. Pour in the Prosecco, followed by the Aperol and club soda.

  2. Garnish with an orange slice and serve



Watermelon Margarita



Ingredients:

  • 120 ml blanco tequila

  • 1 cup of cut watermelon

  • 120 ml lime juice, plus lime slices for garnish

  • Ice

  • Lime wedge and coarse salt, for the glass rims, optional


Instractions:

  1. Salt the glass rims (optional): Rub a lime wedge around the rims of 4 rocks glasses. Fill a small plate with coarse salt. Dip each glass into the salt to coat the rim. Fill with ice.

  2. In a blender, combine the watermelon with the lime juice and a handful of ice. Blend until smooth.

  3. Pour the watermelon juice into the prepared glasses.

  4. Stir 2 tablespoons tequila into each glass.

  5. Taste and adjust, garnish with the lime slices, and serve.



Lemonade 0%



Ingredients for a 9 servings:

  • 240 ml - to taste

  • 1400 ml cups water

  • 700 ml lemon juice

  • Ice

  • Lemon wheels, for garnish


Instractions:

  1. In a blender, combine the watermelon with the lime juice and a handful of ice. Blend until smooth.

  2. Pour the watermelon juice into the prepared glasses. Stir 2 tablespoons tequila into each glass. Taste and adjust, garnish with the lime slices, and serve.

Peach Sangria



Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle white wine (a pinot grigio, chenin blanc, or similar)

  • 240 ml cup Grand Marnier

  • 3-4 peaches, sliced

  • Splash of ginger juice (optional)

  • 1 lemon or lime, sliced

  • Handful of mint and/or basil

  • Handful of ice


Instructions:

  1. Stir all ingredients together in a bit jar or pot.

  2. Chill until you're ready to serve!

  3. if needed add sparkling water to make it less strong



Watermelon juice 0%



Ingredients:

  • 8 cups cubed seedless watermelon

  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger juice

  • Sparkling water, optional

  • Fresh mint, optional, for garnish


Instructions:

  1. Place the watermelon cubes in a blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Place a nut milk bag or a few layers of cheesecloth over a large bowl and strain the juice. (optional - otherwise the juice will be thicker))

  3. Transfer to a pitcher and stir in the lime juice and ginger juice. Serve with sparkling water and garnish with fresh mint



Cosmopolitan



Ingredients:

  • 60 ml vodka

  • 30 ml Cointreau

  • 30 ml cranberry juice

  • 30 ml lime juice

  • Ice

  • Orange twist


Instructions:

  1. Place the vodka, Cointreau, cranberry juice, and lime juice in a cocktail shaker.

  2. Add ice and shake until well chilled.

  3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, traditionally a coupe or martini glass

  4. Garnish with an orange twist or a lime slice if prefered



Mimosa



Ingredients:
  • 1 bottle (750 mL) Champagne, prosecco, or cava, chilled

  • 750 ml of orange juice (freshly squeezed is preferred)


Instructions:
  1. Pour the sparkling wine into the Champagne flutes, filling each glass about half full.

  2. Pour the orange juice on top to fill each glass and serve.
